Cell Division is a very important process in the cycle of living organism as it helps
to regulate many biological processes in the body. In general the Cell Division
can be categorized into two parts nuclear division and cytoplasmic division. The
nuclear division involves the nucleus of a cell whereas for cytoplasmic division,
the cytoplasm is separated into two.
The precious regulation of Cell Division is very crucial as the product from this
process is vital to ensure the survival of living organisms. The mitosis in nuclear
division for instance very importance in making sure dead cells are replaced
constantly and at the same time the unique qualities that present in a particular
organisms can be preserve. On the other hand, the Meiosis which controls the
formations of gametes is very important as this is one of the mechanisms in a cell
that can helps to ensure the correct number of chromosomes present all the
time. Irregular number of chromosomes can leads to many genetically-inherited
diseases for example the Down's syndrome, Turner's syndrome and others.
